Plan a golf day around your Orlando vacation, with practical advice on tee times, equipment and course access.

Start with the round you want to play.

For some groups, golf is the centrepiece of the trip. For others, one relaxed round is enough. Decide how much of the day you want to set aside, who is playing and whether everyone will bring clubs before comparing courses.

Find a course that fits your group.

Experience Kissimmee’s golf directory is a useful starting point for exploring the area’s courses. Contact the course directly about visitor tee times, pace of play, practice facilities and any requirements for your group.

Confirm what your booking includes.

Ask about club hire, carts, dress requirements, cancellation terms and any additional charges. Staying in a golf resort or community does not automatically include a round or guarantee access to its courses.

Keep the rest of the day comfortable.

Allow time for the journey, check-in and warming up. Check the forecast and the course’s weather policy. If only part of your party is playing, agree a separate plan and meeting point so everyone enjoys their day.
