Second time at this rental home. Good room for the entire family. Tough for the air conditioners as second floor and additional upper area open to the ground floor which makes it tough to keep the entire house cool. Temperature was ok but during the day in the summer can get a little warm in the house. Main bedroom downstairs never really got cool. First stay the refrigerator didn't work so a temporary unit was brought in which worked. Second stay the refrigerator again had issues so maintenance had to bring a backup again. Maintenance was great at bringing the backup unit. They remembered me as it was only a couple of months between our stays. All in all a good stay and location of the house was great but may think twice about renting this house again.

Our family of 10 to 12 travels from Key West to the Orlando area each summer for a family vacation. We sometimes stay at Disney or Universal resorts, but as our family has grown, renting a larger home has become more practical. Last year, we stayed at Evermore Resort. We selected Reunion Resort this year because we were also interested in potentially purchasing property in the area. I initially reserved a home through VRBO. As our trip approached, I learned that the rental did not include access to Reunion's water park and certain resort amenities. I canceled that reservation, losing approximately half of the rental cost, and booked 7438 Gathering Drive directly through Reunion Resort to ensure we received full resort access. Every Reunion staff member I dealt with was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. The home itself was large and attractive, but it needs substantial updating. It also lacked a game room or pool table, amenities our family has enjoyed at other vacation homes. I recognize that those features were not included in the listing and that I booked quickly, but families should carefully review the home's amenities before reserving. When we arrived, the pool was very dirty, and we did not see a pool cleaning technician until the third day of our stay. Pool service should be completed before guests arrive, particularly during the summer when the pool is a major reason families rent these homes. The air-conditioning instructions were also inconsistent. The brochure, website, and instructions inside the home each provided different minimum temperature settings. One stated that the air conditioning should not be set below 72 degrees, while another stated 70 degrees. In practice, the system appeared to be remotely controlled and would not cool below approximately 74 degrees, regardless of the thermostat setting. This made the downstairs bedroom uncomfortably warm throughout our stay. The Reunion app was difficult to use, and the separate transportation app was also clunky and confusing. We made several attempts to use the resort's restaurants and amenities, but many did not appear to be operating as advertised or were not easily accessible. We were able to eat at the clubhouse once, and the meal was excellent. Trash collection was another recurring problem. We never received same day service and always had to call twice. This became more than a minor inconvenience when we returned from a day at the parks and found trash scattered across the front porch after squirrels tore through the bags. A resort managing large vacation homes should have a more reliable system for trash collection. Overall, Reunion Resort appears to be designed primarily for golf vacations and private home rentals rather than a fully programmed family resort experience. We did not find a central gathering area, organized family activities, or regularly scheduled events for children and grandchildren. This was very different from our previous experience at Evermore, where the resort programming and on-property activities encouraged our family to spend more time together without leaving the property. Reunion may be a good fit for golfers, families who primarily plan to visit the theme parks, or guests who want a large private home and do not need extensive resort programming. However, families seeking a true resort atmosphere with dependable amenities, organized activities, convenient dining, and places to gather may find the experience disappointing. Because we were also considering purchasing property in Reunion, this stay was informative. The homes and community are attractive, but the inconsistent services, limited family programming, and difficulty using some of the advertised amenities would make us hesitant to purchase without conducting considerably more research.

My Family and I had a great week at the resort and the Sycamore. The home was full of brand new amenities and very clean. The pool was warm every day which was nice because the weather wasn't great all week. Easy access to the golf courses and kids activities. Lawrence the shuttle driver was fantastic.

We have a wonderful time. The staff was attentive and helpful. The rest is incredible with new options like Pickleball and there are activities for adults and children. It is a place to always return and recommend.

This home was amazing! Beautifully furnished, very roomy, and able to handle a larger group. We were impressed with the quality of the construction and furnishings, and the “extras†in the kitchen, for example. We used the pool and hot tub, and we enjoyed the large TV room. In spite of some bad weather, we had an outstanding time at the Reunion Resort.
